1. The Google Font API

    Just last week Google announced their new Font API, that includes a font directory, and preview tool. All the fonts in the directory are available for use on any website under an open source license and are all provided by Google’s servers.

    Although developers and designers have been able to included non standard web fonts using the css @font-face property for quite some time, there are still a couple advantages to using Google’s Font API instead.
